APP PRIVACY POLICY & UGC MODERATION
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how TDR Productions ("Company," "we," or "our") collects, uses, and protects data in our mobile app ("App"). The App may include user-generated content features such as posts, comments, messages, community discussions, event check-ins, and reviews. This policy covers our approach to data privacy, security, and community safety.
2. Terms of Use & Community Standards
2.1 Acceptance of Terms
By accessing user-generated content features in the App, you agree to our Terms of Use. These Terms require that all content and user behaviour comply with community standards. Users may not access user-generated content features without affirmatively accepting these Terms.
2.2 Prohibited Content
Our community has zero tolerance for the following content and behaviour:
Hateful or discriminatory content targeting race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
Harassment, bullying, intimidation, or threatening behaviour toward other users
Sexual, adult, or explicit content
Violence or violent threats
Spam, misleading information, or impersonation
Illegal activity or promotion of illegal products/services
Self-harm or promotion of self-harm
2.3 User Responsibility
You are responsible for all content you post. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these standards and take action against accounts that repeatedly violate community policies.
3. Automated Content Filtering
To help maintain community safety, the App uses automated filtering technology to identify and flag potentially objectionable content for human review. This includes:
Detection of explicit language and hateful speech
Identification of adult or violent imagery
Detection of spam patterns and impersonation
Flagged content may be automatically hidden from public view pending human review. Users will be notified if their content is flagged and removed.
4. User Reporting & Flagging
4.1 How to Report Objectionable Content
Every post, comment, or user profile includes a "Report" or "Flag" option. To report objectionable content:
Long-press or tap the content/profile you wish to report
Select "Report" from the menu
Choose the reason (hate speech, harassment, explicit content, spam, etc.)
Optionally provide additional context
Submit the report
Reports are submitted directly to our moderation team and are reviewed confidentially. You will not be publicly identified as the reporter.
4.2 Our Response
We review all reports within 24 hours. Content determined to violate community standards will be removed, and the user account may be suspended or terminated depending on the severity and frequency of violations.
5. Blocking & Muting Abusive Users
5.1 How to Block a User
Users who experience harassment or abusive behaviour can block other users directly from the App:
Visit the user's profile
Tap the "Block User" or menu icon (⋮)
Select "Block" from the options
Once blocked, the abusive user will not be able to see your profile, posts, or send you messages.
5.2 Automatic Reporting
When you block a user, the block action and any associated context (e.g., messages triggering the block) are automatically reported to our moderation team. This helps us identify patterns of abusive behaviour and take action against repeat offenders.
5.3 Muting Alternative
Users may also choose to "Mute" other users, which hides their content from your feed without them knowing. However, muting does not report the user to our moderation team—blocking does.
6. Content Removal & Account Enforcement
6.1 Removal Timeline
We commit to the following response times:
Objectionable content reported through the App: Reviewed and actioned within 24 hours
Automated flagging system: Content hidden immediately; human review within 24 hours
Once content is confirmed to violate community standards, it will be removed immediately and the user will be notified.
6.2 User Account Termination
User accounts may be suspended or permanently terminated for:
Single instances of severe violations (hate speech, violent threats, adult content)
Repeated violations of community standards
Harassment or coordinated abuse
Terminated users will be notified of the reason and may appeal the decision within 14 days.
